Your data stays on your device — we never touch it. After the trial, you'll need an active subscription to continue generating new transcriptions and notes. All your existing sessions and archives remain accessible.
Yes. Monthly plans cancel immediately with no further charges. Annual plans continue through the end of your billing period. You can manage your subscription directly from the app's settings.
No. In offline mode, audio and notes never leave your device. In online mode, audio goes directly to your chosen provider (Deepgram or Claude) under your own API keys. ClinicalFlow never stores, accesses, or transmits patient data to our servers. All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM on your local machine.
Business Associate Agreements are available on Enterprise plans. Since ClinicalFlow processes data locally on your device and never stores PHI on our servers, the typical BAA requirements are simplified. Contact us at enterprise@clinicalflow.us to discuss your compliance needs.

For online features, yes — you'll use your own Deepgram API key for transcription and your own Claude API key for AI note generation. This means you control your costs and data relationship directly. For fully offline use, no external API keys are needed — Whisper runs locally on your machine, and Ollama handles local AI note generation.
ClinicalFlow is built for offline-first workflows. After initial activation, the app verifies your subscription once every 7 days and allows a 30-day offline grace period. You can work completely offline between verifications — perfect for rural clinics and settings without reliable internet.
